All NC LIVE member libraries now have access to the Nursing Core Video Collection, a collection of foundational nursing videos from Infobase, available on the Films on Demand / Access Video on Demand platform.

This collection complements Infobase’s Nursing: Currents Concepts and Practices Collection, already provided by NCLIVE, offering an additional 400+ videos focused on essential skills, clinical topics and patient care procedures.

NC LIVE has scheduled downtime to apply updates to our website and EZproxy hosted proxy environment. During this time, some of our services will be offline or only available intermittently. We'll send a follow-up email when the updates are completed.

Affected Systems

Many EBSCO ebook PDFs are not currently not loading successfully in EBSCO's online viewer-- the viewer window remains blank when a PDF version of the ebook is accessed  (When EPUB versions are available, the EPUBs are loading).  

 NC LIVE has contacted EBSCO about this issue-- we will provide an update as soon as we know more.

Good afternoon,

Effective September 1, 2026, EBSCO will transition their AI-Assisted Search (formerly Natural Language Search) and Ask This Document (AI Ask) from opt-in to opt-out, meaning that these tools will be available by default in EBSCO databases.
