The next step in Morningstar's new platform migration is a new URL. The existing Morningstar URL will be retired on May 31, 2021.

NC LIVE Proxies- Potential Downtime

On Thursday, April 1st at 7:00am, NC LIVE will perform OS updates on our proxy servers. This may result in downtime of around 10 minutes per library for libraries using NC LIVE Hosted Proxy, barcode pattern matching and NC LIVE password.
We will send out an email when the updates are complete.

NC LIVE links to LearningExpress Library and PrepSTEP are currently redirecting to the EBSCO menu page. Users can get to LearningExpress from the bottom of this page, but we are working on fixing the direct link.

Morningstar Platform Enhancements

Morningstar Investment Research Center will be rolling out a new and improved platform to NC LIVE member libraries on April 8.

The new platform will feature new research tools and enhancements, and will fix the long-standing search box issue.

Action Required- Local Proxy Libraries

If you have a local library proxy, please add the following lines to your existing Morningstar stanza by April 8th:

SERVICE ALERT: ProQuest Error Messages

Update 2/25/21- This issue has been resolved.

We have received multiple reports from libraries experiencing error messages on the ProQuest platform, including seeing red banner error messages on the search page, and an error message that says "We seem to have encountered a problem."
