Open Education North Carolina Collection contiene libros de texto abiertos y gratuitos que han sido seleccionados para los cursos que se imparten con mayor frecuencia en los colegios y universidades de 2 y 4 años de Carolina del Norte. Los profesores pueden adoptar estos recursos educativos abiertos (REA, por su sigla en inglés) para ahorrar dinero a sus estudiantes y reducir el costo total de la educación superior.
