Users accessing SIRS through the proxy may encounter an error message when they try to select an article:

"Error!
There was a problem with your document. Please check the address and try again."

SERVICE ALERT: NC LIVE Summon search for password/barcode libraries

Libraries using NC LIVE password/barcode authentication are experiencing an error message when using the Summon search on nclive.org. Users get an error message after they select a search result. 

We are working on fixing the problem. In the meantime, here are two workarounds" (1) Direct users to log into their library on nclive.org first, before searching Summon(2) Send users directly to NC LIVE's Summon search through this URL https://nclive.summon.serialssolutions.com/ We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to fix the problem as soon as possible.

Local Proxy Libraries- ProQuest stanza

For libraries that use a non-NC LIVE proxy, it may be necessary to update your ProQuest stanza. The latest stanza is available on OCLC website and was updated 9-3-2021: https://help.oclc.org/Library_Management/EZproxy/Database_stanzas/ProQuest?sl=en  No action is necessary for libraries using NC LIVE Hosted Proxy, library barcode or NC LIVE password.
