Users accessing Morningstar may get an "Access Denied" error message. We are in contact with Morningstar and will let you know when we have any updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. 

The NC LIVE Help Desk will be closed Friday, December 23rd through Monday, January 2nd for Winter Break. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd. 

We made a few updates this month to our usage statistics process to provide more accurate usage. Updates are listed below.  For future reference, all vendor reports and vendor metrics used in NC LIVE usage reports are available on NC LIVE's website here: https://www.nclive.org/for-librarians/collections/usage-reports/data-definitions 

Changes made:

SpringShare is planning server maintenance for all of their products starting at 5am Eastern on Thursday, December 29, 2022. This will require as much as 5 minutes of downtime for each SpringShare app. 

Since the NC LIVE website service runs on SpringShare, this will cause an outage of your website for the amount of time that SpringShare is down. Your website should be back up and running as soon as SpringShare resumes normal functionality. 

Every year Films on Demand adds and removes titles from our subscription collection.

They remove titles from our subscription collection because the producers have lost rights to distribute the title, or because the content is out of date. 

Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk for titles which will be removed on or around December 31, 2022. 

MARC delete files are available in your admin portal. Please contact Films on Demand if you are interested in getting access to a permanent copy of any of these films.
