SpringShare is planning server maintenance for all of their products starting at 5am Eastern on Thursday, December 29, 2022. This will require as much as 5 minutes of downtime for each SpringShare app. 

Since the NC LIVE website service runs on SpringShare, this will cause an outage of your website for the amount of time that SpringShare is down. Your website should be back up and running as soon as SpringShare resumes normal functionality. 

Every year Films on Demand adds and removes titles from our subscription collection.

They remove titles from our subscription collection because the producers have lost rights to distribute the title, or because the content is out of date. 

Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk for titles which will be removed on or around December 31, 2022. 

MARC delete files are available in your admin portal. Please contact Films on Demand if you are interested in getting access to a permanent copy of any of these films. 

New MARC records are available from NC LIVE's ebook and audiobook content in hoopla. The previous MARC records had duplicates and several incorrect URLs. These issues have been fixed with the new batch of MARC records. Here's what has been corrected:

In the coming weeks, hoopla will begin reaching out to NCICU libraries to set them up with a login process for the hoopla login page.  This is so users will be able to select their library from the list on the hoopla login page
