Outdated titles deleted from NC LIVE's Ebooks on EBSCOhost

1,632 outdated titles have now been deleted from NC LIVE's Ebooks on EBSCOhost collection.  No action is necessary on your part.

Some libraries may still have access to some of the titles if they have access to them through other avenues, such as an old Lyrasis/SOLINET Shared Collection, a current EBSCO eBook subscription collection, or an owned title that a library purchased on its own.

ProQuest eBook Central June Title Removal

ProQuest has shared a list of 5,929 titles that will be removed from eBook Central on June 19. Contact the NC LIVE Help Desk for a list of these titles.

Libraries with Summon do not need to take any action as the Summon eBook Central collection will automatically be updated by ProQuest.

After June 19th a MARC record delete file will be available under the Collections tab in LibCentral.

MARC record delete files for Gale Virtual Reference Library

In April, NC LIVE deleted 10 ebooks from our Gale Virtual Reference Library collection. MARC record delete files for these ebooks are now available. Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk to obtain this file.

If you use Summon, and are subscribed to Gale Virtual Reference Library as a collection in Summon, please make sure you are only subscribed to the 16 ebooks NC LIVE currently has access to (and any additional titles your library subscribes to individually). Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk for a title list of the current GVRL collection.

Testing & Education Reference Center Outage

Access to Testing & Education Reference Center has been restored!

Testing & Education Reference Center is currently unavailable. Users may receive a variety of error screens including a password request screen and "504 Gateway Time-out".

Gale Cengage Support is aware of the problem and currently working on a solution. We will provide an update when additional information is available.
