The NC LIVE website has not undergone a significant upgrade in several years. The NC LIVE community has expressed an interest in improving the site's functionality and appearance. A technology upgrade of its Drupal software is also due.

- Complete required technology upgrade for Drupal.
- Update and improve discovery experience for patrons.
- Ensure the site is supported across platforms and devices.
Project Background
The NC LIVE website has not been upgraded in several years and has consequently fallen behind current best practices in design and functionality. It does not adhere to the following current best practices in library website design:
- Should emphasize search over browse,
- Should serve library patrons first and library staff second, and
- Should be mobile-friendly.

Migration: February 2016 - December 2016.
