Public Library Survey

Reporting date: June 30, 2024

The Public Library Survey (PLS) from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) requires public libraries to report data from their library consortia. NC LIVE provides using the following information to incorporate into your library's holdings and circulation data for NC LIVE-provided resources for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.

The State Library of North Carolina generally pre-fills the NC LIVE-related information for all public libraries. These numbers may vary from the general collection numbers, depending on the definitions from IMLS. NC LIVE has used the definitions provided by IMLS to determine which of our collections should be included in each count. Please contact your State Library representative if you have additional questions.
