Infogroup now Data-Axle

Infogroup (the company that owns ReferenceUSA), has rebranded to become Data-Axle.
No technical changes are necessary at this point. The ReferenceUSA interface is the same, however you will notice a new banner at the top of the page that says "Data-Axle."

Trial Access- LearningExpress Library and PrepSTEP

Trial access for LearningExpress Library Complete and PrepSTEP for 2 and 4 Year Colleges is available for NC LIVE member library staff to start training on the resource. Training and tutorials from NC LIVE will be available in the next several months. Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk for trial credentials.

The 2020-2021 NC LIVE password is now available. The 2019-2020 NC LIVE password will expire on October 1, 2020. Both passwords will work until October 1, at which point 2019-2020 passwords will expire. Please email the NC LIVE Help Desk, if you need access to your new password.

Potential NC LIVE Proxy Downtime- August 23

MCNC is going to be testing their generators on Sunday, August 23rd from 12:01AM to 6:00AM. There is no anticipated service disruption, but NC LIVE Hosted Proxies could go offline during this time.

Updated Usage Stats- NC Historic Digital Newspapers & SIRS

We recently discovered that usage stats were missing on the NC LIVE website for Historic NC Digital Newspapers Collection, SIRS Issues Researcher and SIRS Discoverer, from January 2020 to June 2020.

These stats have now been updated and are available on our website: https://www.nclive.org/usage-reports

Note: we will continue to use COUNTER 4 reports to pull stats for Historic NC Digital Newspapers Collection since they are not included on COUNTER 5 reports yet.
