We've heard from Infobase that the errors affecting Films on Demand, Just for Kids, and Ferguson's have been resolved. Please contact the NC LIVE Help Desk if you continue to experience issues.
Users accessing Films on Demand, Just for Kids or Ferguson's Career Guidance Center may get an error message "This site can't be reached" after the page takes too long to load. We are in contact with Infobase about this issue and will let you know when we have any updates.
This update is for all libraries that use WMS (WorldShare Management Services).
Films on Demand Collection Updates in WMS
NC LIVE received feedback that there were errors in the custom NC LIVE Films on Demand collection in WMS. These errors have now been fixed, and the collection was reloaded with the correct title information. All libraries subscribed to the collection should automatically receive these updates.
On Thursday, December 21st from 1:00AM- 7:00AM, NC LIVE will perform maintenance on our website. This may result in downtime of the NC LIVE website (nclive.org) and NC LIVE resource links from 1:00AM to 7:00AM.
We will send out an email when the updates are complete.
Twice a year, Infobase removes titles that have been discontinued from Films On Demand subscription collection(s). Titles are discontinued because producers have lost rights to distribute a title or find the material to be out of date. The list shows the titles that will be removed from NC LIVE's Films on Demand collection on or about December 31, 2023. You can also view and export this list in your Infobase admin portal by going to the Discontinued Titles Report under Films on Demand.
