Access to ProQuest's Historic North Carolina Digital Newspaper Collection appears down for multiple libraries. Users are redirected to an external Newspapers.com page instead of the Historic NC Digital Newspaper Collection. We are in contact with ProQuest about this issue and we will let you know when we have more information. 

The NC LIVE Help Desk will be closed November 26-27. We will reopen Monday, November 30. Have a great Thanksgiving! 

This year NC LIVE will host a Distinguished Speakers' Series of virtual talks from leaders in industries related to libraries. Similar to a TED talk or conference keynote, each Distinguished Speaker will inspire new ideas and ways of thinking among our member libraries. In addition to the talk, there will be programming before and after the event to extend engagement with the speaker and topic.

Some libraries have reported to us that users are seeing a message on RBdigital about an October 15th date migration to Libby. "On October 15, 2020, audiobooks and ebooks are moving to the Libby app. Learn More." Please ignore this message. NC LIVE's migration is scheduled for December 2nd. We have contacted RBdigital about this erroneous message, and they said that they will remove it.

NC LIVE will be moving all of our RBdigital ebooks and audiobooks to Hoopla on December 2nd. Users will maintain access to NC LIVE content on RBdigital until December 2nd.
