NC LIVE RBdigital content moving to hoopla

This summer, RBdigital was acquired by Overdrive. As part of this acquisition, the RBdigital platform that NC LIVE relies on for our statewide RBdigital collection will be retired. The NC LIVE Resource Advisory Committee explored options for replacing this platform, and the NC LIVE Librarians’ Council made the decision to move NC LIVE’s RBdigital content to the hoopla

Potential NC LIVE and proxy downtime- October 11th, 12AM- 6AM

MCNC will be performing infrastructure upgrades on Sunday, October 11th between 12AM and 6AM. This may result in downtime for NC LIVE's website and/or proxies.

New HomeGrown Ebooks- MARC records available

MARC records are now available for the new HomeGrown ebooks. You can find them on this page: https://www.nclive.org/librarystaff/downloading-marc-records 

The new HomeGrown ebooks have also been added to the NC LIVE Catalog in Summon and EDS.

Please note, we have 685 new ebooks (not 696) as originally stated, due to a calculation error.

Films on Demand Inaccessible through Summon Search

Update 3/8/2021- This issue has been resolved.

~~NC LIVE's Films on Demand Collection in Summon, database code: NCLKS, is not currently showing any search results in Summon.~~

~~We are working with Ex Libris to resolve this issue.~~
